Heart of Connectionism

At the heart of Connectionism is the belief that God is (and has always been) in connection to all mankind and is a part of EVERYthing that exists in our conscious and unconscious experience as well as known and unknown reality.

We also believe that mankind was created for connection with God and to others.  Humanity can only reach its greatest potential CONNECTED in COMMUNITY.

The commandment to love God and our neighbor as our self is a commandment of connection.  If this is the greatest commandment, isn't connection the point?

  1. Connection is the point...We were created with the need to be connected ALL the time. It reminds of me the move that Will Smith starred in called "I Am". it was absolutely one of the scariest movies I'd ever seen, not because there were monsters or a killer or demons, but simply because he was the last man on earth and had NO connection to any human beings. What a paralyzing thought...connected to no one? He eventually started talking to the mannequins in the video store just to have some connection to someone....I find that in the times that I Can't hear God or see clearly, I'm missing a connection somewhere.

  2. It is amazing how even a quick connection with faith filled loving people can amplify the voice of God and illuminate shadows.
